Pain after rib removal

On the day of the surgery, the half-rib nose surgery lasted about two hours, and the whole process went very smoothly. After the surgery, I went home, and to be honest, my nose didn't feel too uncomfortable that day; instead, the pain at the rib area was more noticeable. I had to be very careful while sleeping to avoid putting pressure on the rib area. However, since the doctor had informed me beforehand that rib cartilage is a type of tissue that can regenerate, there wouldn't be a hollow left from removing part of the rib cartilage, as the body has self-repairing capabilities. So even though it was a bit painful, I wasn't worried.

Aside from the rib, I feel that the recovery process, the sensation at the tip of the nose is more noticeable, with some swelling, but a few days later, as I returned for a follow-up and had the dressing changed, the swelling gradually subsided. About a week later, my nose had already begun to show a natural effect.
